We will be holding our first round of tryouts for our 2026 Fall Ball teams on Monday, August 31st at Amherst Regional Middle School, 170 Chestnut St., Amherst, Ma.
This year we will have a combined 5/6th boys grade team and 7/8th boys grade team, as well as a HS girls team and a HS boys team that will play in the Battle of the Border League in Springfield, Ma and Enfield, Ct. From September through November. It is a very competitive league and is a great warmup for school and travel basketball. Practice will be once a week in Amherst, with opportunities for skills and drills training on an additional night each week. Games are generally on weekends, but during playoffs we may have some weekday games.
Our 9th grade team will participate in 4 tournaments throughout the fall and will travel within Massachusetts for most of them. Practices will be two nights a week for the 9th grade team. This will be a great opportunity for athletes to prepare themselves for playing at the high school level.
